Of course, leave it to Kanye and Kim to spawn a parody video.

Truth be told, I’ve only lately come around to giving Kanye West the benefit of the doubt.  However, that doesn’t mean that the rest of the world will also resist taking shots at him.  One of the reasons this happens, I think, is because of the perception that he takes himself too seriously, and that he and Kim are perfect precisely because they’re so self-involved.  Which is going to lead people to poke fun at him.

5 million views and counting, so you know that Kanye has the world’s attention.  Interesting, too, that he premiered a highly edited version on Ellen.

Wondering  how much pickup the Rogen/Franco parody will get.  Stay tuned.
